Uganda’s quest for a strong showing at the World Athletics Under-20 Championships continues to gather momentum, with qualification numbers rising sharply following the third National Track and Field Trials held over the weekend.
A total of 11 athletes met the qualifying standards at the latest trials, bringing the overall number of Ugandan qualifiers to 25—up from 14 recorded after the first two trials held in March.
