Egypt has been prioritising cooperation with Nile Basin countries as one of the main pillars of Egypt’s foreign policy.

The Nile Basin countries include Egypt, Burundi, DRCongo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan,Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
